My heart still hurts every day when I think about losing Grandma Ethelene and how much I miss her. I am blessed that I had her in my life for so many years and have shared so many amazing memories with her. She was such a beautiful person and wonderful Grandma. She was always saying something to make us smile & make us laugh. I will absolutely miss her sense of humor. Through every important thing we have been through in life Grandma was always there for us. Once I had Tyson, I'll always remember the way her eyes would light up and her smile would brighten when I would bring him over to see her. She loved him so much, from the time he was born she wanted to hold him every chance she got. The past few years he loved to play with her canes and loved to ride in her wheel chair every time we would visit with her, she got a kick out of this. She would even push him in her wheelchair down to see the fish tanks at Palm Gardens. He continues to ask me when we can go see her, and although it hurts my heart to hear this, it also makes me happy to know he will always remember & love her too. She will be truly missed but knowing she is in heaven watching over us brings comfort. I love you always and forever Grandma!

Dear cousins and family. I was saddened to learn of our loss. Ethelene was special to me and I looked forward to our visits, wether to enjoy one of her scrumptious meals or just a visit catching up on all the news. Ethelene had a way of making you feel special and lifting my spirits.
I will miss her dearly.

I was so blessed to have such a wonderful mother-in-law. We had so many happy memories with her. A recent one still has me smiling, sharing "peanut butter pizza" at a grandson's birthday party. Still not sure we liked it.

I will always remember the little things that made her happy.

Ethelene and my mother were both taken from me this year and will always be loved and missed.

I didn't think I could ever be happy about my grandfather getting remarried, but I fell in love with Ethelene and her kids the first time I met them. Grandma Ethelene was wonderful to my grandfather (Joe DeBlasio) and put my mind at ease as she took care of him and helped him in his final years. I have many beautiful memories of time spent with Grandma Ethelene, talking, shopping, looking at old family pictures, and enjoying her amazing cooking. Ethelene was full of love and understanding. She always made me feel so special and saw beauty in areas where I always felt I was lacking. Much love to Jim, David, Peggy, Sharan, and your families.

Jim and David, I am so sorry to here about your mother. She was a very lovely and sweet person. I enjoyed our talks when she would come into the office to visit. With the lost of my mom couple of months ago, I know the void you have in your life now. My thoughts and prayer are with you both. God Bless! Debbie Nevis
