

Born in Santa Ana, Cagayan, Philippines on July 10th, 1924, she witnessed incredible changes to her world. She was the second eldest of Pantaleon Recolizado and Dionisia Raquino and the last remaining of her 8 siblings. She married her high school sweetheart, Juan Divina Tagumasi on June 24, 1948. They were happily married for 65 years prior to his passing in 2013. They have 3 children: James (Eva), Rodel (Janet), and Rhonda Lee; 9 grandchildren: James Jr., Jason, Lex Marie, Janelle (Bryan), Reyna (Daniel), Joshua, Ryan (Kayshia), Ian and Daniel ; and 11 great-grandchildren: Austin, Jackson, Dylan, Blake, Donovan, Ariyah, Kayden, Eliyas, Koko, Augie and Dalton.
She dedicated her entire life to her family, raising, nurturing, supporting and loving them unconditionally. She showed us why family is of the utmost importance and that laughter will always keep us together. Her impact on our lives is immeasurable and infinite. Our successes are due to her lifelong sacrifices. What we ARE is because of her.
Florida Recolizado Tagumasi, age 97, of Sacramento, California passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021. A visitation for Florida will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Ln, Fair Oaks, CA 95628. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 8201 Greenback Ln, Fair Oaks, CA 95628. A reception will occur Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 8201 Greenback Ln, Fair Oaks, CA 95628.
