Floyd Marvin Henson passed away peacefully on March 28, 2012; he was 83. Floyd was born in Waverly, KS on May 8, 1928 to Floyd and Oma Henson. He served his country in the United States Army and worked for over 45 years as an Engineer in the Aerospace industry. Floyd loved golf and was actively involved with Toast Masters, SIRs and volunteered for the Republican Women’s Organization. First and foremost Floyd was a devoted father to his 4 children, James, Floyd Jr., Pamela and Dale and adored his 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his companion of over 30 years Joy Sweet, her son Eric and the Elder family. He was preceded in death by his oldest son James Henson. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, April 3rdfrom 4-7pm and funeral service on Wednesday, April 4th at 10am.
