It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank Kasal Blecha Jr, a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Frank passed peacefully in the afternoon on Sunday October 29 surrounded by loved ones. Frank was born on November 24, 1953 in Sacramento, California to the proud parents of Frank Kasal Blecha Sr and Anna Alycia Blecha (Ferguson). He grew up with four sisters, Carol, Fran, Mary, and a twin sister Jo Ann. He graduated from Encina High School. Frank possessed an exceptional passion for life. He had an unwavering commitment to those he loved. Throughout his life Frank was known for his sense of humor, kindness, warmth, and storytelling. He had the ability to light up any room he entered and bring joy to those around him.
Frank’s greatest accomplishment in his life was being a dad to his three children, Frank III, Amber, and Chelsea and a grandfather to his ten grandchildren. He loved being a dad and most of all loved all his time being spent with his family. He was the kind of father who would do anything in his power to help his children. He was Papa or Grandpa Blecha to his grandkids who all adored him and he loved their company.
Professionally, Frank was highly regarded for his dedication and hard work ethic. He had a successful business career as a Franchise Regional Director of various Restaurant corporations for over 35 years. He loved to teach and worked hard to efficiently oversee multiple locations; which he ran very successfully. He would always tell stories of his work adventures.
Franks joys in life were going on horseback rides with is horse Duke, camping, fishing, cooking, going on drives and traveling across the country. Frank could often be found engaging in his favorite hobbies with his kids and he loved taking them on many adventures. From driving across country, seeing the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone National Park, Mount Rushmore, the Grand Canyon, and Hoover Dam to name a few. Summers with him in Truckee, Ca, included fishing at Prosser Lake, spending a day at the docks on Donner Lake, hiking and ice skating at Squaw Valley, and surprise trips to Disney Land and camping at Fort Bragg. Many trips to San Francisco, to Pier 39 or the Academy of Science, and Golden Gate Park. He also, loved football, especially Nebraska football. He traveled to see many games; go Cornhuskers!
While Frank may no longer be physically present his memory will forever be engrained in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to have known him, especially his kids and grandkids. He leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and kindness. His memories will continue to warm our hearts, inspire, and guide us. A part of him lives on in each of us.
Frank is survived by his three loving children: Frank Kasal Blecha III, Amber Blecha Justice, Chelsea Leshay Gonzalez and their spouses, Hannah Blecha, Kyle Justice, and Henry Gonzalez. His adoring grandkids, Allison Raya Dagle, Adison Blecha, Tucker, Jordyn, and Peter Blecha, Aiden and Kade Justice, and Diego and Alexander Gonzalez. His sister, Fran Blecha, and nieces Neva Spano and spouse Richard Spano, and Amber Matsuo. All will miss him dearly. Frank has joined his parents in eternal rest and has been reunited with 3 sisters and his first grandchild Kailey Blecha, who went to the lord before him.
A memorial service honoring Frank’s life will be held on 11/24/2023 at 11:00am at Old St. Mary’s Chapel: 5251 Front Street Rocklin, Ca 95677.
May Frank rest in eternal peace, forever remembered for his unforgettable spirit and the mark he left on our lives. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished. Though we mourn the loss of our beloved Dad and Grandpa, we celebrate his life and the joy he brought to our lives and the countless memories shared. He will live on in our hearts for generations to come. We love you and miss you, Dad.
