Frank came to Orangevale, CA in 1950 where his father owned the Public Market. In 1960, Frank and his six brothers built Capri Market. They ran their business together and closed the Capri Market doors in 1989. He was a hard worker, enjoyed running the warehouse and loved his produce department.
After Capri Market closed, Frank spent his retirement years doing what he loved the most. He spent time with family, traveling, working in his garden, and caring for his koi fish. Frank truly enjoyed, loved and lived for his family. He was everyone’s "Papa Woo." He had a unique and special relationship with each of his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He impacted the lives of everyone more than he could have ever imagined.
In the twinkle of an eye, Frank went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 14, 2020 in Roseville, California with his loving wife Donna by his side.
Frank is preceded in death by his brothers, Henry, Leroy, Grant and Albert, and his dear sister Betty Cho.
He is survived by his sweetheart of 57 years, Donna; his five children: Jackie (Rod), Richard, Willie (Darah), Cheryl (Bill), Stephen (Amber); sixteen grandchildren: Breann, Andrew, Kendra, Richie, Christopher, Heather, Alexa, Daniel, Lauren, Ashley, Nathanial, Ellie, Abigail, Amelia, Alexa, and Franklin; great grandchildren Audia, Adrielle, Cheyenne, Makaylah, Aunders and his miracle baby, Leong (Leo) Woo, who is his Chinese namesake; his brothers Clarence and Harry (Jane) Woo; and sister in laws Linda and Carol Woo.
