Freddie passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 13, 2021 at the age of 87 in North Highlands, California. Freddie was born in Lima, Oklahoma to LeRoy and Essie Bradley and is the third of eight children. Whatever his life role was as a husband, father, uncle, grandfather, Deacon, Lodge Brother, Noble, Past Master, mentor or friend – he was known as a caring, kind, and generous man.
He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1953 and honorably served his country for 26 years. He met his loving wife Teruko while stationed in Itazuke, Japan. Their union lasting 62 years until her passing in January 2021. Retiring from the military in 1979, they moved to North Highlands which became their permanent home. He continued to work for 20+ years as a civilian at the Army Depot and McClellan AFB.
He developed a hobby of photography and for many years carried a camera wherever he went. So much so that he became the photographer for his Lodge with many of his photographs appearing in yearbooks and periodicals.
He is survived by his children Curtis Bradley, Linda Cameron (Robert), and Michael Bradley (Kary) along with eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Ln., Fair Oaks, CA on March 26, 2021 at 1:00pm and Graveside Services to follow at 2:00pm.
Due to the current COVID protocols for Sac/ Placer/ EL Dorado county, guests must wear protective masks at all times while inside the funeral home facility and practice the recommended six foot social distancing.
