Fred kept us on our toes at Orchard Park. He had a sense of humor that saw no end. It was indeed my honor and pleasure to have been able to call Fred my Friend.

Fred was a tough old cookie. He used to raise his cane and shake it at me with the cutest smile. All the girls at Orchard Park would give him a little kiss on the head. We loved that man...and praised Anne for her strength. Fred will be missed dearly.

Fred was dearly loved by all the staff at Orchard Park where he spent his final days.  His quirky sense of humor delighted us all, and he will be dearly missed.  whenever i would ask him how his meal was he would pretend to snarl at me and when i would give him a hug in response he would jokingly cry out "mother!!" and then give me a big smile.   i am honored to have known him.

I knew Fred for about 35 years, just before he married Ann. I was 16 years old and Fred taught me construction for many years. When I was young he was my mentor who helped me to overcome some of life's difficulties. He was like a father to my mother, Linda and, like a grandfather to my brothers and I. My mother and I were with Fred to the very end. However, It was my mother, Linda who provide for all his needs when he was unable to care for himself. We loved Fred very much and, will greatly miss his fun approach to life, his humor, his smile and his laugh.  We love and miss you, Fred.

I could always rely on Fred to make me smile and laugh. He would always bang his cane on the ground or point it at me and tell me to "Get to work!" then stick his tongue out. I love ya Fred and I miss you!

I will always remember Fred's wonderful sense of humor. Whenever I would walk by him at Orchard Park he would always stick his tongue out at me and give me a huge smile and wish me a great shift. I love you, Fred and miss you terribly!

In loving memory of a wonderful man. It was an honor to get to know Fred. He will be missed greatly. Ann now has a special gaurdian angel. Love you Fred.

Thanks for all the kind wishes about the passing of my father.  He led a long and productive live.
