Gary Allen Schroeder, age 69, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2021, surrounded by his family. He was born on December 10, 1951, in Dickinson, North Dakota. His family moved to the Sacramento area in 1955. He loved playing golf, playing rummy and listening to oldies music. After retirement he spent his time enjoying his hobbies of watching sports (he was a loyal Denver Broncos fan), reading, doing yardwork, and caring for his granddaughters. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Lydia Schroeder, three children, 3 granddaughters, 2 sons-in-law, and 5 siblings. He will be remembered for his hard-working, selfless, quiet, truthful, and kind nature.
