Giovanna DiMauro

Giovanna DiMauro passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 29, 2010. She was born on November 7, 1931 in Italy. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Francesco DiMauro and her brother, Joe Caruso. She is survived by her daughters, Angela Stone and Christine Flovin, and her grandson Scott M. Flovin, who was the light of her life. She is also survived by her sister, Teresa Ucci, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for being selfless, and being always ready to help others. A strong-willed and feisty woman, she blessed everyone who knew her with her cooking, her zest for life, and her sense of humor. She will be remembered by the unconditional love she had for each person, including strangers. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A visitation will be held for her on Tuesday, January 4, 2010 from 4-7pm, with a rosary at 6p.m. A funeral service will be held in her honor on Wednesday, January 5, 2010 at 10:00am. All services will be held at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Lane Fair Oaks, CA 95628.
