Gladys Louise Underwood

Gladys "Louise" Underwood passed away on March 12, 2023 in Carmichael, CA at the age of 87. Louise was born in Lindsay, OK on September 14, 1935 to Clyde and Edythe Ballard. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Roger Underwood, and her children, Rick (Mary) Underwood, and Karen Underwood.

She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, brother, Weldon (Pam) Ballard, niece, Patti Beauileu-Covino, her sister-in-law, Carolyn Ballard, and numerous niece's and nephew's. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Edythe Ballard, brothers, Donald, Charles "Short", Stanley "Skip", Dale (Betty) Ballard, sister, Betty Regalado, granddaughter, Sharis Underwood and her daughter, Linda May.

Louise was a long time member of the United Methodist Church of Rancho Cordova, belonging to several organizations within the church. Louise was a member of Tops in Rancho Cordova for over 50 years.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the United Methodist Church, 2101 Zinfandel Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670. A reception will follow in the Adams Hall at the church. A private family burial will be held on Saturday.
