Glen Dee Brace

Born November 11, 1931, in Booker,Texas, he passed away peacefully at age 81 on August 29, 2013. He resided in Yuba City, California for the past nine years. He worked for 30 years in the grocery industry as a cashier and later as a manager. He enjoyed gatherings with family and friends where he showed off his cooking and BBQ expertise! His hobbies included golf, cards and crossword puzzles. After moving to Yuba City, he and his late wife of 40 years, Iona, became active members in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He will be greatly missed by his surviving family members: Brother Paul Brace (wife Janis), Dorothy, wife of the late brother Don Brace and Eleanor wife of the late brother Danny Brace. His loving children Christine Benoist (husband Michael), Vicky Donnelly, Rodney Brace (wife Kendra), Wesley Brace (wife Coneen), George Brace, 24 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. His loving step-daughters Carolyn Spottsville (husband David), Sandra Zang (husband Rodney Becklehimer), grandchildren Deanna, Danny, Mark, Jason and 4 great grandchildren. A private funeral service will be held at Mount Vernon Memorial Park.
