Gloria Ollervides Cuevas

Feb. 12, 1928 - April 3, 2014

Passed away peacefully at the age of 86 at Mercy San Juan Hospital. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Hector to whom she was married to for 65 years. Glorial grew up in San Antonio, Texas. They moved to California in the mid fifties. She was a great "Mom" and homemaker. Hector was working for United Airlines and that enabled them to travel extensively in the 60's & 70's and into the 80's all over the globe. Europe, South America, Asia, Australia, and many times to their favorite place, Hawaii. She was an "auxilliary volunteer" at Mills Memorial Hospital (San Mateo) for 25 years, helping and attending to patients needs. She prayed and cared for everyone in need on a daily basis, her rosary always by her side. Dearly loved by all and many more family members in her birth state of Texas. She is survived by son Alan and his fiance, Marilyn, son Hector and daughter-in-law Kathy, grandson Jason, daughter-in-law Mary, grandsons Marc and Adam and great-grandson Nathan. Visitation will be from 5-8 on Friday, April 11th, 2014 at Mount Vernon Mortuary, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, California. Services will be 10am, Tuesday, April 15, 2012, also at Mount Vernon with interment to follow.
