With great sadness, we announce the loss of our beloved mother Golrokh Razavi, age 81, of Orangevale, California on Monday March 23, 2020. She was born March 25, 1938.

A life so beautiful lived deserves to be beautifully remembered, but unfortunately due to current Coronavirus situation, no gathering for celebration of her life allowed.

Memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.MountVernonMemorial.com for the Razavi family.

Due to the current COVID protocols for Sac/Placer/El Dorado County, guests must wear protective masks at all times while inside the funeral home facility and practice the recommended six foot social distancing.

My Dear Cousins and Razavi Family ,

Please have my heartfelt condolences.
What a grate emotional celebration of your beloved mother 's life , via link . I loved it , specially the last part ( Goodbye Song ) .
I have so much happy memories of her, from " Good Old Days ".
I believe The Mothers are in the sun , in the wind , in the rain , and in the air we breathe with every breath we take . They sing song of hope and cheer . There is no more pain and no more fear . We will see them in the clouds above . Hear them whisper, words of love .
We will be together before long . Until then , listen for her SONG .

Biography

On April 4th, we witnessed the burial of our mother, Golrokh Razavi, who was born on March 25, 1938 in vicinity of Mashad Iran and passed away on March 23rd, 2020 in Folsom, California.

Golrokh is survived by two daughters: Shirin and Shahla, three sons: Amir, Jamil, Jamal and eight loving grandchildren: Naseem, Neema, Laila, Arash, Seena, Naveed, Shawyan, Shadeh and many more family and friends.

Golrokh was a loving wife to her late husband Jalal, a loving mother, sister, grandmother, mother-in-law and a friend to all.

Golrokh along with her husband Jalal and their five children immigrated to America from Iran in July 1977 and settled in Washington area for 4 years before they all moved to Sacramento area 39 years ago.

We will all remember her for her devotion to her family, her modesty and her beautiful laugh.
She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends in Iran, Europe and the United States.
