Harvey Ellis Morton

He was a Loving husband to Lisa Morton, and caring brother to Raymond Morton (passed), Dorthey Shelton, and Charles (Shirley) Morton. Devoted father to Jim (Randie) Morton, Kate (David) Smith, and stepfather to Lauren (David) Chavez and Megan Booth (Johnny Marks). Adoring Papaw to Ellis Morton, Cameron Smith, Avery (Adam) Payne, Jackson Morton, Spencer Smith, Jay Morton, and Kaecyn Cosens.

Harvey served in the United Marine Corps as a young man. He worked for Transocean managing off shore drilling rigs all over the world for 30 years. Once he retired he went home to Texas and raised cattle. Harvey loved to travel the world and also the United States in the RV, ride his motorcycle, tell his stories, and brag about his grandkids.

Family and friends are invited to Mount Vernon Memorial Park on March 20, 2022 where a visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service and committal on March 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
