1946-2018
It’s not the dates above which are important it is the dash in-between that is what truly counts. Deni, as she was known to friends and family, lived her dash to the fullest.
To countless friends she was known as “Mom” or “Nana.” When people were going through their toughest times they found a home, comfort, advice and a warm embrace.
Despite her constant travel to visit her children in New Mexico, Central California, and Washington she spent the better part of four decades in Fair Oaks and could never reside anywhere else.
She found joy in going to the pool and walking several days a week. She saw the beauty in everything from nature and sunsets to the landscaping of neighborhood yards.
She was a strong woman who would never complain no matter the circumstance.
She loved her family and her wine, so we will raise our glasses to her and all she has done. We do not say goodbye, instead, we say until we meet again.
.
Deni is survived by her three children, seven grandchildren, brother, sister and countless friends
A Memorial Service for Deni will be held Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA, with a reception to follow on the 2nd floor of Mount Vernon's main Bldg.
