Born July 9, 1920 in Pittsburg, PA. Passed away on Feb. 26, 2013. Beloved husband of Gertraud Hasenknopf Bonomo. Survived by daughter JoAnn Bonomo Brandle; grandsons Carl Bertram Atkins III, James Vincent Atkins and Raymond L. Brandle; great-grandchildren Carl Bertram Atkins IV, Skyler Hawk Atkins, Annie Brandle, Michael Brandle and Riley Brandle. Preceded in death by 3 sisters and 6 brothers. Retired from the US Army as a Master Sergeant and from the California State Government as an Accounting Officer III. Lived in Rancho Cordova since 1965. Enjoyed travelling, playing bridge and playing the recorder. Visitation will take place from 3-7pm on Friday, Mar. 8. Funeral Service will take place at 10:00am on Saturday, Mar. 9. Both services will be held at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Ln. Fair Oaks, CA 95628
