Janet died peacefully on Wed., Jan. 4, 2012, in Marysville, CA with her son by her side, having lost her battle with emphysema.
Janet was born on Oct. 29th, 1937 in DeKalb, IL, to Harry and Helen Calhoun.
She moved from Florida in 2007 to live near her son Daniel and his family.
She is remembered for having a zest for life, steadfast devotion and love for her family, a deep love of her Savior, and for being a great friend and always being positive regardless of what life threw her way.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Hardin, her sons David Price and Daniel Fisher, ten grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Powell.
Her funeral will be Fri., Jan. 20th at River Valley Christian Fellowship in Yuba City at 11:00 AM. A meal and fellowship will follow. Donations may be made to Gideon Int., PO Box 1454, Yuba City, CA 95992-1454.
