Jeff was born on August 13, 1964 in Sacramento, California. He attended Thomas Kelly Elementary School and Sacramento Union Academy High School. It was during these early years that Jeff was recognized as being a gifted student excelling in Math and Science.
Far from being a bookworm, Jeff was always hatching some plan to achieve a goal or "beat the system". From building the best stool in his Grandfathers Wood Shop to winning Blackjack at Reno, he always had a plan. Oh, not that he would reveal his plan to you. He would just smile and let you know that he had a plan and that you had to wait to see the finished product.
Jeff attended Pacific Union College and Cal Poly Pomona where he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering. During this time he did what all guys do in college - studied a little and chase after women a lot! His unshakable confidence and sly smile ensured that he always had a date for Saturday night.
After college Jeff landed his dream job working for the Aerospace firm Northrop-Grumman, where he helped design and create the Stealth Bomber. As this was a top-secret military project at the time, Jeff would often joke that he could tell you about his work, but then he would have to kill you. Although being quiet by nature, Jeff always had a quick wit and smile that allowed him to fit right in to any social situation.
After several years with Northrop, Jeff was able to get a transfer to the Aerospace firm AeroJet in Sacramento. Unfortunately, shortly after this transfer the company was closed due to governmental cutbacks. But it wasn't long until Jeff was able to secure a job working for his High School buddy Chris Russo at Life-Touch studios. Although this was far from Jeff's chosen profession, his wit and charm seemed to fit will with this new role. In fact, Jeff could have been a used car salesman if he put his mind to it.
Recently Jeff had been trading foreign currency on the Foreign Exchange Market and actually making some money at it, which is quite the feat in today's economy. But not surprising as Jeff's determination to find a solution to any problem was limitless. So it's no doubt that he figured out some system or method to deal with the market changes.
Over Jeff's life he has had his share of challenges, but never lost his quick-wit and easy smile. Still hatching grand plans for the future and determined to work them through. Jeff will always hold a place in our hearts and bring a smile to our face when we remember his wit, charm, and unbeatable spirit. We will all miss Jeff tremendously.
