I love you my baby sister. You died 3 years and one day after our brother frank. We miss you so much. You were my best friend. I can't believe it's been a year. So much has happened this year. It's not the same without  you here. I miss you so much!

P.s. Parker still sleeps with his special pillow... He has it in his hand right now. It comforts him every night while he sleeps. I tell him it is his special pillow from you and I tell him all about you.

I can't believe it's been a year since you've been gone. I miss talking to you and hearing your laughter and caring voice. We will meet again in heaven someday. Love you Aunt sis!

We miss you on your 1st birthday away from us. You would be 56 years old. We hope you're resting in peace.

I have fond memories of Jennifer who was a wonderful person with a very loving heart.  After going to her funeral it was clear that she made a great contribution to all the lives she came in contact with and showed great courage with her illness.  She made me feel special and loved when I was a child and always kept in touch.  We are very sad she left this life so early and know she will be greatly missed by everyone who was part of her life.

My dear sweet sister. I miss you so much. I'm so sorry we didn't bring you home with us for your final days as we knew how unhappy you were in your situation and wanted to come home with us. We were like you and thought you had more time! 
Our guilt is huge. Regrets regrets regrets my sweet angel. You were my best friend and my only sister. My daughters miss you. We can't believe you are gone forever. I love you and miss you!

Dear Beth,
I can't possibly imagine the pain you may feel now.  I don't even have the correct words to truly comfort you in this time but just know that your sister loves you now and forever.  Remember her love for you and your family and let it make you stronger each day. Thank God for the times that you shared. 
Now she is home and someday you will be together for the rest of eternity.  Till that time, be strong and let her love strengthen you and make you whole.  Your sister is someplace we all hope to be - in heaven. She is in the presence of God the Father, the one who created her. He has been waiting for her and now he gets to welcome her back home. Jennifer was a wonderful mother, aunt, partner and friend. It was a blessing to be a part of her warm life and kind personality. She was greatly compassionate to the people she knew and loved.

Watching the video at Jennifer's  funeral service of her with her students, she gently told them to keep remembering what they talked about before: that one person can make a difference.  On two sides of the country, we learned this from her too.  She always sent wonderful cards, letters, photos, and handmade gifts. There were loving phone calls to everyone over three generations, and like Superman, distance seemed no obstacle to her.  She flew back and forth between her two families.  She did everything she could for her dying mother in Las Vegas and her family in California along with nurturing her own family in New York, and there were probably other family members in between. And I wondered, but how does she do all this?  She has a career, a family, and no car, and pets to care for...then then there was all the  sickness and pain...but somehow we each received 100% of her attention. Thank you and God bless you always Holtz.

You remain in our thoughts and prayers.  My memories of Jennifer revolve around Holly's wedding. I watched while she dealt with her diagnosis with such grace and calmness, and I know she had already dealt with this for a significant amount of time at the time of the wedding.  She could still laugh and joke while in obvious pain.  
We will continue to keep each and every one of you in our prayers.

My youngest sister Jennifer has lost her courageous, tragic battle. Jennifer and I had a special rapport developed in our early chidhood years...a connectedness that prevailed over many decades of time and thousands of miles of distance. This accord was based on our mutual love of family, nature, hiking, camping, literature, rock music, late-night board games, pets and lengthy, honest discussions on any topic imaginable.  I always called her Holtz, a nickname affectionately coined when she was very young. Jennifer embraced this handle and always referred to herself as Holtz in any communication with me. She will always be Aunt Holtz to my kids and grandkids. Holtz was well-known for her kind, compassionate nature. Her thoughtfulness and consideration for others was her signature quality. Throughout her long trial with cancer she never complained and consistently expressed great appreciation for the support of her family and friends. I loved her so much. There is a permanent void without my littlest sister, Holtz.

Jennifer, You left us way too soon. The hole in our hearts will never heal.   We know you are home now with your  loving mom Janet and your brothers Chuck and Frank. Our family will cherish the many memories you left behind for us for the rest of our lives. You gave so much to everyone you touched in your life, especially the many children you touched so deeply  in your school classes in Brooklyn for over 15 years.  We watched your school, Ms. Mac appreciation celebration movie again this week. Your indelible positive imprint on the lives of the young children and their families you taught is unbelievable.  There is no greater gift one can receive than the display of appreciation and Love your school family expressed to you so personally in the celebration presentation for you.  We will cherish it always. I know Your son Seth will continue to grow to be a strong person and like you he will have a positive impact on the people he comes in contact with in his life.  Fredda will be their for Seth and they too will cherish the memories of you. 

We Love you and we will always miss you.  We will see you again in Heaven one day.

Dear Aunt Sis, I cannot express how much sadness fills my heart at this time. You were such a great aunt, friend, mother and teacher. You inspired and touched the hearts of everyone you met. You fought a long battle with cancer and continued to beat the odds. We didn't think we would lose you so suddenly and I wish I could have heard your sweet voice one more time say "Hi Holly Dolly". You will be forever missed and remembered. Parker sleeps with his "pillow" every nap and bedtime and looks for it whenever he is sad. Thank you for all that you did. Love, Holly

My Dear Sweet Baby sister. I love you and miss you so much. Your gone way to soon. You were always there for me and I was for you. I don't know what I will do without calling you or you calling me almost daily and exchanging our life stories with eachother. I always trusted you. Please rest my little sister. I wish so much we had lived closer together so we could have done more things together and enjoyed eachother in person. You lived so faraway. Please my sister don't worry about your Fredda as she is strong. please don't worry about your young son. Fredda is taking very good care of him. Both Fredda and Seth are taking good care of your best Friend "Frityz" as they know he is yours. Plus, the kitties too Celtric and Robbie. Everything will be okay. I wish you didn't have to go so soon. I do know why god wanted you... You are an angel and he needed you. I love you my sister. I miss you so badly it hurts. I will see you in heaven.
