Two years gone, sweet Jeree. You were a most special human being. You cared about the most important thing in life:  Caring for and being there for others. Your heart was huge. Your professional goals equal to your heart. Your love for your children, your mom & your brother, unsurpassed.  Praying you are at peace but still able to influence the lives of all with whom you  encountered. You are forever bright, beautiful from the inside, out & forever loving.

This was a gift one year from Jeree and I will treasure it 💖  It reads MOM inside the heart. She was like a daughter to me!

I am so saddened to hear of Jeree’s passing. We were childhood friends and I have memories of us playing Care Bears and dancing in her family room to Friday night videos. She was a good friend. She will be missed by many. My heart goes out to her family.

Was one of the best camping trips ever! Damaged rental cars, people unintentionally and unwillingly trapped in the forest, hikes to the tops of mountains, and smiles all around…

Was a Dia de los Meurtos themed restaurant down in Cabo. Can see why the holiday is so important there. Jeree will always be in our thoughts. 

This was my 50th Bday, the infamous Assault on Cabo San Lucas! All survived and was a special time spent with Jeree!

I met Jeree through our interactions at SHRA and CalHFA.  While I never worked directly with her,  I held a deep respect for her and her vast knowledge of affordable housing at all levels. On top of that she was a genuinely nice person.  My heart is extended in comfort and grace to her family and all who loved her.

I met Jeree in grad school and she was always a kind and generous friend.  We rode bikes together exploring Griffith Park and the LA River and later she took me to the Sacramento River with her dog.  Most recently, we would meet up for lunch when I was in Sacramento for work.  She was always a smart and thoughtful colleague.  Our kids are about the same age and we would talk about balancing work and family.  She loved you all so much.

I am so grateful to have had Jeree in my life. I will treasure her memory and honor her legacy.

I knew Jeree when we worked at SHRA and we often mountain biked together on the weekends at Folsom and Foresthill Divide. I am on the east coast now so we haven’t seen each other for years but kept in touch. She was special and she’ll be missed by Robert, the kids, and everyone she knew.  My sympathy to all who cared about her.

I am heart broken as I  remember Jeree as a friend and employer and welcomed as a member of the family! I was Lisbon and Max's  nanny for 8 years and love the family  unconditionally. She was the kindest and most loyal and thoughtful woman and she will be missed but never forgotten .

I remember meeting Jeree for the first time - she was newly hired with us and by chance she and I had the same flight to Sacramento that evening. We sat together talking mostly about raising kids and making each other laugh. I immediately looked up to her and felt a camaraderie with her that I will cherish forever. I'm heartbroken for her family and I wish you all comfort and strength during this difficult time.

Sending my deepest condolences. Jeree was a bright and inspiring woman with a wealth on knowledge, warmth, care and dedication that was truly inspiring. Even though I knew her only as a work colleague, she never failed to mention her love for her children. She will truly be missed.

I met Jeree in freshman world history at NUHS. We had a lot of time to get acquainted as we watched Ben Hur on repeat. I loved our time water skiing, snow skiing, playing doubles tennis and hanging out. Jeree was a thoughtful, athletic, intelligent, caring individual and one of my most cherished friends. We lost touch as we grew older and lived in different states, but when we did see each other it was as if no time had passed. I’m so happy that I was able to see her and her wonderful family in Nov 2022 and take the picture above. My thoughts are with you all!

I will always treasure the time I spent with Jeree. I loved getting to know her through trips to the pool and our annual camping trips.  Jeree always made my family and I feel included in everything we did together. 
I'm thankful to have known you Jeree and I will miss you very much.

Lisbon and Max, I have such great memories of your mom, beginning in high school where we played basketball on the Fish team together.  We reconnected four years ago on the sidewalks of Westlake where I am a teacher. It was so great to see all of you on your way to and from school, or at school events.  Westlake is a loving community full of caring adults that have you two in our thoughts and hearts. 

We are so, so sorry to hear about the loss of Jeree. What a wonderful, beautiful person. Sending all our love from Colorado!

To my beautiful friend, Jeree, I’m so grateful I met you thru the moms’ club 10 years ago this year. I was in shock to hear of Jeree’s passing and there are moments where I catch my breath when I realize she is no longer here. To the family, my sincerest condolences. As I sit here and read this my heart breaks for all who have had the  pleasure of knowing someone who was truly kind to everyone in this world.  What an unbelievable loss to this world and what an amazing gain in heaven.  I am so very sorry for her entire family and friends.. know she was always a fighter for what was right and compassionate in this world and all of us will miss her!

I remember working in the park at Wildwood to decorate for Jeree's wedding and the trip down the river in Truckee, my first and only. My condolences to you especially Tiffany since I know, as with many mothers, she was your heart walking around in the world.

Rob, I met you and Lisbon when Jeree was the ED at the California Debt Limit Allocation Committee for the State Treasurer's Office.  At the time I was one of her staff.

I met Jeree when I moved to a new school in 7th grade. She had a smile for everyone and the best laugh.   I loved getting together with her over the thirty years since graduation to catch up and hear great stories she would tell.  I will miss her dearly.
