Joan F. Gustin of Rancho Cordova passed away peacefully with her family beside her on April 10, 2013 at the age of 75. She will rejoin her husband, Larry, who predeceased her 28 years ago. Her love and support will be missed by her son, Don (Brenda), daughter, Cheri (Rob), four Grandchildren Luke, Kendra (Chase), Amanda (Joel) and Ian (Christine), three and a half Great Grandchildren, (Clara, Evelyn, Kya and Lilian), her brothers, Gerald (Kaye) and John (Mary Sue) Fickes of Washington state, along with numerous members of the Fickes and Gustin families. Joan was well known within the Rancho Cordova Community as a Chamber, Rotary Inner Wheel, Emblem and Elks member. A private committal service will be held at Mount Vernon Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Joan’s life on Sunday, May 26, 1:00 pm at the Elks Lodge in Rancho Cordova, 11440 Elks Circle.
