She was born on December 6, 1942 in Vordingborg, Denmark.
Her Mother was Anna Johanne Jorgensen of Naestved, Denmark. She also had one brother, Svend Erik, also of Denmark. Both are now deceased.
She was formerly married to Louis Averiette, the father of her two daughters, Tina L. Schneider and Michelle R. Averiette of Dayton, Ohio.
Her second marriage was to James D. Smith, II of Baltimore, Maryland with whom she enjoyed her many hobbies (horseback riding and ownership, painting, ceramics and travel).
She really enjoyed organizing and being the President of the local Horse Club.
She is survived by her family, friends and well wishers in California, Denmark and Ohio. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
There will be a celebration of her life at the Sunrise Vista Park clubhouse at 6525 Sunrise Boulevard in Citrus Heights, California 95610 on March 31, 2012 at 3 p.m.
