Born April 5, 1995, to Eric and Mary Ann Reisig, Jonathan embarked on a life full of love, joy, and adventure. From an early age, his bright smile and happy-go-lucky personality were infectious to all who knew him. He enjoyed playing many sports. He especially loved football, where he excelled on the O-line while playing for Rocklin High School. Most important to John were his friends and family. He was the most loyal and true friend anyone could ask for. He truly never had an enemy and made friends easily everywhere he went. His charm and tremendous heart radiated to all around him. It’s been said that he was the sun in the solar system that his friends revolved around.
After graduating from Rocklin High School in 2013, John attended college in San Luis Obispo and, later, in Truckee, CA, where he enjoyed a winter semester of snowboarding to his heart’s content. John enjoyed living near the sand and surf and his sister Ashleigh in San Diego, CA, where he was embarked on his career in mortgage banking with American Pacific Mortgage Corporation. He loved the sunsets and made a point to watch the sun setting over the ocean at every opportunity. He was a movie buff, and loved to discuss politics.
John is survived by his loving parents Eric and Mary Ann Reisig, his loving sister Ashleigh Reisig, grandparents Beth Hinton, Frank Dominguez, and Julie and Kevin Mims, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Victor Reisig and grandfather John Hinton.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 24th 2:00 pm.m, at the Timbers at the Lodge, 7050 Del Webb Blvd, Roseville, CA, 95747.
