To my dearest uncle, J.L., in heaven:
I will always only have the fondest memories of you.
From as far back as I can remember, you always had thw greatest smile, and a great sense of humor, always making us kids (and adults) laugh.  You were always, kind and never spoke a mean word, or lost your temper.  Whenever our families got together at your house in fremont, I came home with a Cat(s) that you had insisted that  I must have.  I was so happy, and i loved you even more for giving me a kitty!   Looking back, I was too young to realize that I was probably leaving with one of my cousins' beloved pets.   They were too kind to ever say anything, and I am so very sorry if that was the case. Yes, i know, it is very late for an apology, but still meant/sent from the heart.  
You were always working hard to provide for your family.  From what I could tell, you (and auntie Helen) did a fantastic job -- because all of my cousins turned out to be awesome, upstanding  citizens of the world.   I will never forget how you took time out of your busy life to come spend several weeks with me and mom to help take care of my dad who was dying from lung cancer. You took great care of us.  I will never forget that.  I am sorry that I  wasn't there for you in your time of need.   You will always have a place in my heart.   I pray you are now resting in paradise with all of your loved ones who have gone before you, and know we will all see you again.
I love you and I will miss you.  You will never be forgotten. 💔😇🙏🏾❤️

To Mom and Dad:
Thank you for the sacrifices you made for us- working extra hours to enrich our lives, giving up so much to make things easier for us. I’m grateful for your helping hands showing us how; your watchful eyes keeping us safe; your caring hearts; your silent prayers and selflessness.  Thanks for keeping us on the right track.  Our little village of Mission San Jose in Fremont was a great place to grow up, with its gladiola fields in the spring, fruit orchards in the summer, train whistles and cows mooing in the night.
So long for now my protectors, my guardian angels. Well done. You made it. A journey completed. It was an honor caring for you both these last 7 years.
