She was born in Orlando, Florida and traveled the world with her family, while her father served in the United States Air Force. She settled in Fair Oaks, CA and had five children who were the joy of her life.
Anyone who knew her came to love her feisty spirit and “unfiltered” personality. She was gentle and kind, loving and nurturing and always stood up for what she believed. She never hesitated to speak her truth or waver from it. She was spunky and had a great sense of humor. You couldn’t help but fall in love with her.
She had a steadfast faith that couldn’t be broken. She was devoted to her Jehovah’s Witness family who were always committed to serving her. She was a prayerful woman and prayed for her family every day.
She was a resilient fighter who pulled through SO many trials because of her FAITH. She was strong and mighty! “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20
She had a BIG, beautiful heart! She accepted people for who they were and loved them anyway. She was always holding their hands or asking for a hug. If she really liked you, she would give you a nickname. She loved deeply and wholeheartedly.
She enjoyed the simple things in life, watching the squirrels and birds outside her window, word search puzzles, reading the Watchtower, detective shows, fresh beautiful flowers, and a subway sandwich.
Most importantly, she loved her family more than anything. They brought her so much joy. Her family was her greatest legacy. She loved her “visits” whether by phone, Zoom, letter, window or in person they were the highlight of her day.
“It’s not what we have in our life, but who we have in our life that matters.”
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Francis Galley and Josephine Helms Galley and her step-father, Jack Booth. Her brothers, John Carl Galley, and James Galley. Her grandson, Baby Noah.
She is survived by her children; George “Stinky” and Robin, Marie “Dolly” and Al, John “Toot” and Paulette, Leann “Sunshine” and Mark, Judy “Judy-Jean” and Dale.
Grandchildren; Dessira and Bryant, Corey Lee, Brittany , Destiny, Tiffany and Paige, and Landon.
