June died peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with Heart Disease. June was a small business owner in Sacramento for over 30 years, was a two-time President of the Sacramento Yacht Club's Women's Auxiliary, and the First Female Commodore of the Sacramento Yacht Club.
June was the widow of late husband Tom L. Melton who leads the way on this new journey. June is survived by her brother David Morris, sister Sherri Petersili and brother Jim Bererton; daughter Sherrill O'Toole (Ed Sr.); sons, Jim, Don, and Tom E. Melton (Angela); grandchildren, Ed O'Toole Jr., Heather Hawkins, Corey, Austin and Taylor Melton; great-grandchildren, Hailey and Hannah Hawkins. No services will be held. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Children's Receiving Home of Sacramento in her name.
