Karl was born in Middletown, Connecticut, June 14th, 1950. He joined the military, the United States Air Force on March 24th, 1970. After Basic Training, he was stationed at Clark Air Force Base, Angeles City, the Philippines. He was stationed at several other Air Force bases in the United States and overseas serving for twenty years and retired at Mather Air Force on March 1st, 1990. Two weeks after his Air Force retirement he went to work for the Sacramento Sheriff Department as a Court Security Officer for twenty-five years.
We both loved to go motorcycling, camping, boating and gardening. He also had a few hobbies; model trains, composing music on his computer and reading.
He is survived by his wife Delia Nacar Griffin, his son Michael Edward Griffin, daughter-in-law Robyn Fontaine Griffin, granddaughter Jenna Miyeko Griffin and grandson Joseph Emmanuel Fontaine.
He was the most caring and loving gentleman who would give unsolicited advice without asking. You surely will be missed and there aren't enough words that can be said of just how much that will be!
Goodbye My Love, Dee
