Kevin Steven Montoya

Kevin was born March 27th 1969 and grew up in Petaluma California. Kevin attended La Tercera Elementary School, Kenilworth Jr High School and Casa Grande High School in Petaluma California.

Kevin Married Sherry Holden on June 24th 1995 and soon moved to Sacramento California. He began working at Viking Drillers Inc in Granite Bay California in October 1993. Kevin became the Vice President of Viking Drillers Inc which he operated with his wife and late Father in Law William Holden.

Kevin is survived by his wife Sherry of 20 years and his 2 children Kenzie and Devin, his parents Ron and Marlene Montoya, his brother Michael Montoya, his mother in law Lynn Holden, his sister and brother in Law Kristy and Alex McCamy, his nephews MJ Montoya, Tyler McCamy, Giovonni Montoya, Will McCamy, as well as dozens of extended family members and loved friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the Forbes Norris MDA/ALS Research & Treatment Center of San Francisco and Sacramento and all the Nurses and staff at Sutter Home Hospice and the staff and caregivers at Bright Star Care Roseville. A Celebration of life will be held at the Granite Bay Golf Club on Friday May 13th 2016 at 6pm. Casual Golf Club attire is required however please consider wearing Kevin’s favorite color of Viking Red. In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations to be made to the ALS Association.
