I was very privileged to get to know Lisa and be her friend. I will always and fondly remember her hospitality and generosity, opening up her home for gatherings  She was a loving soul with a quick wit, inviting smile, kindness in her eyes and she made the most amazing chili. God bless you dear, we all miss you.

Lisa and I jointed our new office together. We turned out to be the same type of worker bees and often bounced ideas between us about program development and improvement. I guess I am still trying to get out of my denial that she is not here anymore--I told her to come back working as a retired annuitant in our last Zoom meeting.  

What we hoped to establish for our program five years ago is already in implementation. I hope it would make you proud of being part of it. I will always miss you!

It was a pleasure to work with Lisa.  She was always generous with her time and talents. We miss her greatly.

Lisa and I were introduced to each other over 18 years ago, we both loved playing golf, watching football  and of course her animals. She was competitive during our golf games but we always had a great time on the course.
Lisa was the only person that ever called me JD I will never forget her for that.
Taken too early she still had a lot to do with her life, I will miss you until we meet again.

Lisa  was a great friend, albeit a long distance friend.  With her being in California, and me in Colorado, it was not easy to see each other.   She loved  animals and gave several rescued animals the best lives they could have hoped for.  Lisa was methodical in remembering dates of when I lost my pets , and would send a "thinking of..." on the anniversary of the date I lost each one.  We had many common interests, but the best one came around each spring when baseball season started.  Her San Francisco Giants and my Colorado Rockies are foes in the NL West, and every season we would wager a gift card on whose team would have the most wins in their head to head matchups.  I was so happy for her the years her Giants won the World Series.   I would like to think that she was content knowing that the Giants will clean up the 2023 season versus the Rockies once again, and I'll owe her...again.  Rest easy, my friend.  I hope we see each other again some day.  

Lisa and I worked together at the CDE. At times it felt like it was just us against the bureaucracy. We shared work challenges and our love for the “Walking Dead” series.  Regrettably, we loss touch as life took us to different paths and I will miss her dearly.  

Lisa was a kind and gentle person whom we will always remember and miss greatly. Sorry she passed at such a young age. Our thoughts and love go out to Terri and family. Dena and Ron

I met Lisa at Southern Illinois University. I have lots of fond memories of our days there. So sorry to hear of her passing and my condolences to her family and friends. Elysa Parker
