Louise Peterson passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2015, she was 91. A native of Louisiana, she made her home in Carmichael, CA where she worked and retired from the State of California after 47 years. She is survived by her loving son, Steven Peterson, and her adoring grandson, Shane Peterson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Jackson “Jack” Peterson, one sister, Betty Jean Rinker, and two brothers, Bill and Bob Martin. She dedicated herself to her family, and was highly regarded as a kind and caring wife, mother, aunt, and friend. She was considered by all the matriarch of the family. An avid sports fan, she lovingly contributed her time to both her son and grandson’s early baseball careers, and she loved her Giants almost as much as she loved listening to her son, Steven, play his piano and guitar! She will always be remembered for her generous nature, love, and support for both family and friends. A viewing will be held on Thursday evening, June 25, 2015 between 6 – 8 p.m., at Mt. Vernon Memorial Park & Mortuary, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA where she will be laid to rest on Friday, June 26, 2015, at 10 a.m.
