Marilyn Louise Drake

Marilyn entered this earthly world November 6, 1936, in Whittier, CA as the first of two daughters born to Raymond "Pete" and Gladys Kridler. Marilyn was peacefully accepted into her heavenly Father’s kingdom Tuesday night, March 8. Her sister, Marlene Lindsay, preceded her in death in 2013. In June of this year Marilyn would have celebrated sixty years of marriage to her beloved and devoted husband, Edward "Kim" Drake. She was the proud mother of three children, Kathie Sinor (Rick), Ray (Theresa), and Brad (Kathy). She adored her grandchildren (eight), and great grandchildren (five). She created and maintained a clean, loving home, and made it a point to be there for the kids when they arrived from school. She was involved in and sup-portive of their school activities and was a member of the local garden club. She and Kim have been members of the Carmichael Presbyterian Church for forty-six years where she served many terms on the Board of Deacons as well as working in the food closet and serving as head usher at memorial services.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 2, at 11:00 a.m. at the Carmichael Presbyterian Church, 5645 Marconi Avenue, Carmichael, 95608. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Marilyn Drake to the Carmichael Presby-terian Church, the Sacramento SPCA, or a charity of your choice.
