13 at age 98. She was a native of Sisseton, South Dakota, and a long time
resident of Carmichael. At age 20, she met the love of her life, Walton
Mann, and together they had four children. After raising her children, she
returned to teaching home economics at Roseville High. She generously
volunteered her time to various causes. Most notable, she loved to quilt
and remarkably sewed over 3000 quilts in the past 17 years. The quilts
were donated through the Lutheran Social Services to those in need in
various countries. She is survived by her three of her children, Tom Mann,
Joanne Keays, and Kathy Tyler, their spouses and children, 6
grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by
her husband, Walton Mann, and her eldest son, Robert Mann. Marge was
the heart of her family and will be greatly missed.
