Marjorie Eunice Young

Marjorie E. Young entered into rest on Saturday February 7, 2015 in Roseville, CA at age 83. A Sacramento resident for 57 years, Marjorie was born November 17, 1931 to parents Alva and Mabel Milby in Greensburg, Kentucky. She is survived by her two sons, Steve Young with his wife Carol Young of Applegate, CA and Ken Young with his wife Debbie Young of Fair Oaks, CA. Adored by her granddaughters, Jennifer Bell-Yarberry, Crystal Rista, Christy Hastings and Amanda Wise and her great-grandchildren J.T. Bell, Jared Bell, Ryann Bell, Jordyn Rista, Alexis Rista, Payton Rista, Kennedy Rista, Blake Hastings, Colt Hastings and the awaiting arrival of Hudson Wise. Marjorie is the older sister of Geneva Milby, Mary F Milby, Gary Milby and Judy Durrett, all of Summersville, KY, Doug Milby of Toulon, IL, and Elbert and Kenneth Milby, both of whom are deceased. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles F Young on March 2, 2011, born in Crane, MO, her son Charles F Young Jr. on March 1, 1949, her daughter Linda Jacobson on December 8, 2013, and also grandchildren Kelli Jacobson and Brian Young. Marjorie lived a life full of love for her family. She will always be remembered for her strong faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ. A loving wife, mother, and granny, she always put her family before herself. She blessed so many with her love, beautiful smile, and fun loving sense of humor. A viewing will be held on Tuesday February 17, 2015 from 4pm-7pm and the celebration of her life will follow on Wednesday February 18, 2015 at 10am. Both the viewing and the celebration will be held at Mount Vernon Memorial Park. Her pallbearers are sons, Steve and Ken Young, grandsons, J.T. and Jared Bell, and grandson-in-laws, Steve Rista, Josh Hastings and Mark Wise. Honor her for all that she has done and let them praise her with the songs of angels at Heaven’s gate. We love you so much, we will see you again.
