Mary C. Love, born Sept 5, 1944 in Elizabeth, NJ passed away peacefully on May 18, 2012 in Sacramento, CA. Mary is survived by her husband of 42 years, David, of Gold River, CA and her daughter, Jennifer, of Atlanta, GA. Mary was an accomplished journalist, working for many newspapers and magazines throughout her long career, including City News Services in Los Angeles, the Louisville Courier-Journal, the Santa Monica Evening Outlook as well as the Mt. Lebanon (Pennsylvania) Magazine and several medical journals. She was a devoted and nurturing caregiver who touched the lives of many. She had a passion for traveling, especially to Europe and California wine country with her husband, David. She will be missed dearly by everyone who had the pleasure of her company. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 at Mount Vernon. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 23 at 1:00 at Mount Vernon Memorial Park with interment to follow.
