Mike was a spark, lighting up a room with his witty sense of humor and radiant smile. He loved fishing, music, computers, shopping, good food and the flashing lights and melodious sounds of a casino slot machine.
Mike is survived by his wife of 35 years, Nancy Clarke Caratti, as well as his sons Paxton Caratti and Spencer (Kat) Caratti, his step children, Tracy (Chris) Granger and David (Roxanne) Hedrick, his beautiful grandchildren Zoey, Sebastian and Annelise and his many other family and friends.
Mike wouldn't want us to mourn, but to celebrate his life with a hearty meal, casting a fishing line into the Truckee river and feeding a $20 bill into the penny slots.
