In the early morning of March 28th 2020, Mildred Martin passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 93. Born in 1926 on Long Island, NY, Mildred met her lifelong love, George, and married soon thereafter. They had their three sons while living on Long Island, then decided to make the big move west to California in 1963 where they had their daughter. Mildred began her career at Crocker Bank/Home Savings, where she was well known and a beloved member of their team. When she wasn’t working, she dedicated her time to her family and friends. Mildred and George were married for more than 50 years and had the opportunity to renew their vows shortly before George passed in 1998. Mildred was welcomed into heaven with open arms by her husband, sister, parents, and two sons. She is survived by her family, daughter Nancy Darnell, son Richard Martin, and many grandchildren. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She was a strong, determined, and fiercely independent woman. We will miss her every day.
