Dr. Cheng was a gentle man who lived life as a devoted husband, a loving father, a generous grandfather, and a kind friend to those who were blessed to know him over the years. He was a hard-working, generous-hearted, and humble man who was also a shining light to those who knew him. He lived life with a great sense of humor and a big smile on his face. Dr. Cheng had a sense of optimism that allowed him to always see a bright future and a positive light at the end of a dark tunnel. He was a lifelong creative who used his creative and critical-thinking skills to solve problems and approach the world in a more productive manner.
During the last several years of his life, Dr. Cheng was an avid traveler who thoroughly enjoyed taking trips to Asia to immerse himself in the beauty and splendor of the countries in that region. Now, he is traveling, one last time, to an even better place where his spirit will finally be able to be immersed in the splendor of eternal life.
Dr. Nai Cheng leaves behind a daughter; a son; a son-in-law; a grandson; many family members overseas; and many wonderful friends and colleagues from the U.S. and overseas who will miss him very much.
A memorial service will be held on November 4, 2021 at Mount Vernon Memorial Park in Fair Oaks, CA to honor Dr. Cheng’s life and to remember him as a man who enjoyed living life with love, humor, and a self-less devotion in support of the causes that were close to his heart.
