With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Nancy Ellen Zimmerman. She was a loving mother and doting grandmother. She passed away peacefully at the age of 72 on April 4, 2023, surrounded by her family. Our mother had a passion for crafts and spent countless hours creating beautiful handmade decorations for family and friends. She was talented, and her creativity knew no bounds. Her love of crafts brought her great joy, and she shared that joy with everyone around her. Our mother also cherished spending time with her family and friends. She had a warm and loving personality that drew people to her. She was always there to lend an ear or a helping hand, and her kindness and generosity touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
Nancy was born to Ralph and Helen Sargent on June 27, 1950. After graduating from San Juan High School (class of 1968), Nancy became a wife and a mother. She met Gary Zimmerman, and they had two children: Chad and Jenna. Our mother leaves behind her two children Chad Zimmerman (Cathy) and Jenna (Louis) Cameron, and her grandchildren, Jonathan and Cole Zimmerman and Jacob Cameron, her little sister, Tommi Bowlden (Charles Bowlden), and her sister-in-law, Lavina Sargent. She also leaves behind her best friends of over 45 years, Paul and Alice Peterson, who are indeed family. She also left behind numerous nieces and nephews. Nancy loved her family and friends with all her heart. We take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with loved ones who have gone before her and that she is at peace in the arms of the angels. Rest in peace, dear mother.
Please join us as we celebrate Nancy at a graveside service on June 27th 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Lane Fair Oaks, CA 95628. A reception will follow immediately after on the 2nd floor of the main building where we will continue to celebrate Nancy and her wonderful life.
