

A viewing will be held at 8:00 AM, Wednesday, August 10th at Mont Vernon Memorial Park & Mortuary followed by a funeral service from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Neil was born March 7th, 1946, in Tooele, Utah to Floyd and Revella Wagner. He attended Western Oregon State College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He also achieved a Master’s Degree in Theology from Simpson’s University.
Neil is survived by his wife Prem of 25 years, sons Davend Datt & Tony Wagner, daughter Vandhana Narain, daughter in law Briceida Datt and son in law Neeras Narain. Neil loved all five of his grandchildren Jayden Datt, Elijah Datt, Abbie Wagner, Sadie Wagner & Anthony Wagner.
Neil loved to travel, attend church, read, and spend time with his family. For many years Neil worked as an investigator for the Salem Sheriff’s department in Oregon. He later decided to take a different path professionally by becoming a Qualified Registered Nurse in the state of California and in the state of Nevada. He worked as a CCRN in the ICU for 20 years before becoming a Nurse Evaluator II for the State of California which he retired from in 2017. He loved his job and was very proud of his many achievements.
Neil was respected in his community and provided much support to his family and friends. His biggest achievement was being able to be the best father to his children and help raise his grandchildren. Neil loved his wife and shared many beautiful memories of growing and traveling the world together. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten for the many lives he has changed and impacted.
