It is with great sadness that the family of Oleda J. Moore, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, announce her passing on.....Born in Harrisburg, PA on May 2, 1927, to the late Wilhelmenia and Martin Luther Sease. She was preceded in death by her husband Chester A. Moore Sr., brothers John and Samuel Sease and sister Clara Richardson. Oleda is survived by her son Chester Moore Jr., daughter in-law Mara, daughter Mary Siegfired, son in-law Gary, daughter Linda Stubbs, son in-law Paul, son Wayne Moore, daughter Susan; grandchildren: Shery Jane, Gary Jr., Neil, Wesley, Melody, Amber Melinda, Thomas, Jennifer, Bonnie, and Andrew; great grandchildren: Rebekah, Rachel, Seth, William, Rosalindae, Joshua, Violet, Elizabeth, Emily, Madison, Dylan, Emma, Austin, Alexis, Kaylee, Miranda, Alexander, Emily Rose, Addison, Nathan, Will, Ava and Camlyn; and great great grandchildren: Zayden, Kimberly and Olivia.
Oleda was married to Chester Moore on June 2, 1945; they were married for 52 years and 8 months. They raised their four children in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where Oleda was a devoted working mother (working at Register Products, Pomery's, Hershey Creamery, and TRW), community volunteer (Brownie & Girl Scout Leader, Boy Scout Den Mother, and PTA volunteer), and active member of Steven's Memorial Methodist Church. In 1967, Olmstead AFB closure precipitated their move to Roseville, CA where they lived until Chet's retirement in 1987. They built a home in Plymouth, CA. They were active members of their church, Amador Christian Center, where their son, Wayne Moore, served as pastor. Oleda was always busy sewing, gardening, cooking, and helping others in any way she could. Her love of friends and family were second to none. Her husband Chet, passed away in 1997 and she later moved to a smaller home in Rocklin, CA. As time went on, she lived with her children until she moved to PA to live near her daughter, Mary, in a lovely senior center. In 2016, she moved, along with her daughter, to WI where she enjoyed life and the beauty of God's creations until her death.
