resident of Carmichael, CA. She was born on November 4th, 1928 in Lake Odessa, Michigan, to Gaylord
and Mae Lapham. She had three brothers: Richard, Ted, and Jack Lapham. Pat is survived by: her sons
Tom Ashley of Nampa, Idaho; Dave Farley (and his wife, Cindi) of Roseville; Rich Farley (and his wife,
Twyla) of Prunedale; and son-in-law, Ron Miller, of Carmichael. She was preceded in death by her
daughter, Marianne Miller (2016); husband Charles J. Farley (1991); and granddaughter, Jennifer Farley
(1997).
Pat worked as a bookkeeper before she became a full-time homemaker. She was active in PTA, bowling
leagues, and supporting her family members in their athletic endeavors. She loved camping, traveling,
playing cards with her friends and going out to lunch. She worshiped the Lord, Jesus Christ, with the
body of believers at Shepherd’s Heart Christian Fellowship in Citrus Heights.
Pat will be deeply missed by her grandchildren: Haley and Noah Miller; Chris Farley, Lyndsey Campbell,
Jenna Clifton, Retta Mefford, and Amy Mayhorn; Dan, Kevin, and Mark Ashley; Sarah Clark, Rebecca
Farley and John Farley. Pat was blessed with 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Although Pat struggled for many years with congestive heart failure, she was determined to reach the
age of 90 and to celebrate her birthday with a huge party. We all cheered when she accomplished her
goal on November 4, 2018, just one week before her passing. A celebration of life will be held on
December 2, 2018, at 11:00am, in the chapel at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks,
CA, 95628, (916) 969-1251. Please plan to join us for a luncheon immediately following the service.
