Peter is survived by his mother, Jeanne Burkart, two brothers, Brian Goberling and Michael Goberling, and grandmother, Katie Goberling.
Born March 29, 1994 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Peter found his roots in the Midwest. He lived in various cities throughout his childhood, including Chicago, Houston, Minneapolis, and Lincoln. In his adult life, he settled on the West Coast in Sacramento. He was a restaurant manager with over 10 years of industry experience. Throughout his professional career, he managed restaurants from New Jersey all the way to California.
Peter was a beautiful young man. He was a loving son, brother, and friend. He had a heart of gold and everybody who knew him loved him. Peter was an automobile enthusiast who had a true passion for fixing, driving, and racing cars - including his prized blue Mazda Miata. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking and fishing throughout the beautiful landscapes offered by Northern California. He will be deeply missed by the friends and family who knew him.
