Raymond J Cormier

Raymond Joseph Cormier, 86, of El Dorado Hills, passed away on March 20, 2012. He was born in Saco, Maine on January 27, 1926, the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Soucy) Cormier. He was predeceased by his wife Kathryn, sister Florence Grace, and brother Robert. He was educated in Saco, Maine and graduated from the University of Maine. He was formerly employed at Bell Aerosystems in Niagara Falls, NY, and retired from Aerojet. He was a US Navy veteran who served during WWII. He is survived by his daughter Carol Brookman and her husband David of Oriental, NC; son David and his wife Barbara of Crestview, FL; son Raymond of El Dorado Hills; daughter Susan Oakes and her husband Bill of San Jose; daughter Janet Salter and her husband David of Auburn, CA; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter, his sister-in-law; Marilyn Cormier of East Hartford, CT; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. There will be a funeral mass at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Rancho Cordova on Friday, March 23rd, at 1:00PM.
