

It is with sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Relna L. Flanagan on March 7th, 2024. She was a proud and dedicated R.N at Mercy San Juan Hospital for 20 years. As a wife of an active-duty military man, she was able to work all over the United States. She had many stories to share of her adventures working, especially during Hurricane Camille in 1969 in Mississippi. She was also able to spend time with her daughters traveling throughout the country visiting them in Nevada, the East, Midwest, and as far as Alaska. She loved the Friday night card games with the family while sharing stories of growing up. She humored us with quotes from plays, poems, and speeches she had memorized while growing up in Ohio. She and her husband enjoyed making trips to various casinos throughout the area. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert, her daughters, Theresa, Patti, Debbie, and Beth. She had 1 granddaughter, Tara (Derrick) and six grandsons, Chase (Kendra), Sean, Ryan (Amber), Andy, Tyler, Jake, and five great granddaughters. Clara, Emily, Kylie, Sydney, and chloe. She loved life and her friends. She will be missed greatly by all of us. Burial will be private with immediate family only.
