Rickey Sue Ayala

Rickey Sue Ayala, formerly known as Rickey Sue Payne was wife to Donald Ayala, mother to Byron Ayala and Cecily Cattoor, and grandmother to Ava Ayala, Byron Ayala, and Cody Cattoor. Rickey Sue attended Lakewood High School and loved sororities and loved dancing all the time. Every person that came across my mother, she would light up their life. She deeply loved her sisters, Pamela, and Marla and enjoyed being a part of their lives. They had a lot of wonderful warm moments including when they all cooked together. My mother Rickey was an exceptional cook. There was nothing she didn’t make that wasn’t wonderful including the love that she brought with it. She had a deep love for her children and grandchildren. It was sassy and funny on a daily basis. She loved gardening and watching her flowers grow. She also loved taking time to build things for her grandchildren, including doll houses. Her favorite place to be when she wanted to get away from everything was the ocean. It was a breath of fresh air and she enjoyed it very much with her family. Rickey also had an absolute love for classic cars.
