

In the days before her passing she was surrounded by lots of love, receiving visits from many family members and friends.
Sharon is preceded in death by her mother Verna Lorene (Smith) Wing, father Wilber Edward Erickson, step-father Norman "Red" Wing, her brother James Edward Erickson, husband Charles Robert Drago, daughter Toni Marie Drago & grandson Corey Charles-Edward Rowland.
Sharon was born September 19, 1943 in Lindsay, CA. She lived all over North Central California, spending several years in Windsor, CA where she attended Lone Redwood School from 1st to 4th grade and later moved to North Sacramento where she attended Norte Del Rio High School. In 1962, Sharon married Charles Robert Drago and who she had 3 children with; Kim, Toni, and Brian. She was widowed in 1989 and never remarried. Sharon worked for the State of California for more than 20 years before she retired in 2003. In retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling with her sister and friends, playing slot machines at the Casino, thrifting, hosting her annual garage sales, reading, solving crosswords and watching documentaries.
Sharon was a smart, genuine, loving, opinionated, outspoken, witty, resourceful, spry woman who was infinitely curious about the world. She will be deeply missed by her surviving family which includes her sister Judith Powell, step-sisters Wendy Ross, Jacque Bode, & Susan Cunningham, daughter Kim Drago, son Brian Drago, grandchildren Sydney Schmeltz, Charles Drago & Megan Drago, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Sharon opted to donate her body to science to support scientific research through non-transplant tissue donation. Following her donation, her remains were cremated and are set to be buried with her late husband on Wednesday September 17, 2025 at Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery in Fair Oaks, CA. Her graveside service will be followed by a Celebration of Life at Leatherby's Creamery in Citrus Heights at 3pm.
