Shirley Pinard Robinson

Born in South Dakota, Shirley was one of 5 children born to Telly and Grace Pinard. Shortly afterwards the family moved to Roseburg OR where she grew up.

Upon graduation from Roseburg High School Shirley moved to the San Francisco Bay area to work, where she eventually met her husband Billy E. Robinson. After marrying they moved to Fresno where they raised four sons, Dirk, Don, Gary and Michael.

Returning in the late 60’s with her family to the Bay Area that she loved so much, Shirley eventually worked for the state as a Tax Auditor, working in various offices around the state.

Shirley was an avid gardener in her free time. Family, friends and neighbors were constantly amazed at the care, love and attention to detail she put into this passion. She always had the most colorful front garden in the block and the weeds never stood a chance on her watch.

Shirley is survived by her four sons, daughters-in-law Sonny Robinson, Stacey Alden and Teresa Robinson, her ex-spouse Billy Robinson, five grandchildren Chris, Nellie, Kyle, Alejandra and Mikey Robinson, and one great-grandchild Garett Robinson.

She was preceded in death by four siblings, Jim, Joe, and Russ Pinard, and Donna Lee Triplett, as well as one grandchild, Nathan Robinson.

Her laughter and gift of gab will be forever cherished and missed.
