Vallabhbhai Karshandas Patel

Vallabhbhai Patel passed away on September 8, 2023. He was born on March 20, 1940 in India to Karshandasbhai and Vajyaben Patel in the village of Kuched. He and his family owned and operated a successful mango orchard. Once his secondary education was complete, he moved to Leicester, England to complete his post-secondary education. In 1964, he was married to Kokilaben and made a lovely life together in England with their three sons, Umesh, Biran and Dinesh.

Vallabhbhai enjoyed his life in England surrounded by family and friends, becoming a successful business owner in London, and then Middlewich in the Northwest of England.

He was always looking to grow his opportunities and success for his family which then brought him to the United States. His first stop, Alabama. There he began his first business in hospitality. But soon enough, California would call to him. A visit to family already settled in California was all it took to bring him to his final destination - Sacramento, California. There he finished out his hotelier career and was able to retire and enjoy time with family. He loved to spend time with and, was very proud of his grandchildren in California and England: Perlina, Rianna, Amaya, Ishaan, Kaahil, Nico, Amaan, Nick and Vincent. He was well-loved and cherished by his daughters-in-law Mita, Layla and Neetu and his nieces Nila and Mukta.
