Was called home to Our Heavenly Father on June 30, 2012 in her home in Sacramento at the age of 86.
She was born August 12, 1925 in Butler, Oklahoma. She was one of 5 children. 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Married to Jack Gordon for 50 years they had a full and exciting life raising their blended family of 5 children, being in the car business and RV business and traveling the world and the U.S. Her favorite song was "On the Road Again" by Willie Nelson, whether traveling in the RV or on her way to Hawaii which was her favorite destination.
Jean had 5 children, Jack Gordon JR "Buddy", Susan Olson (husband Dallas), Jimmy Gordon, Nick Pagniello (Rosie), and Cynthia Wasemiller (husband Arnie). She had 6 grandchildren Danny, Maryann, Terry, Michele, Arnie JR, and Mollie
Jean. 10 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. And not to forget always by her side her devoted dog Lilly and sweet cat Stormy.
Jean couldn't swim but loved to water ski and once skied from the Sacramento River to the Stockton delta, just an example of her strength and determination. Fun loving and always loved a party, hardworking and generous always ready to help anyone in need. She was named business woman of the year for the RV business, sales and service.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack in 2003, her son Jimmy in 1970, and her son Nick in 2005.
Mom had the most beautiful eyes, a smile that was friendly and loving and a heart as big as life itself. She was strong and courageous, loved life and lived it always with hope. She would want us to celebrate her life with the same love, hope and enthusiasm . In her words.....Hot Ziggity!!
