Vera Frances Weihing

A memorial service for Vera Frances Weihing will be held at 12:00 noon on January 18, 2022 at Mt. Vernon Chapel, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks CA. Mrs. Wehing passed away on December 20, 2021.She was the daughter of Robert Brown Ribelin and Kathryne Brookshier Ribelin. She was born in Polo Missouri but spent most of her life in Colorado. She has resided in California since 1982. Her working years were spent in the secretarial field, lastly employed as Executive Secretary to the administrator at the La Junta Medical Center, in La Junta Colorado. She was a member of the Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church and has always taken an active part in church concerns wherever she resided. She was affiliated with numerous groups including her beloved P.E.O. Sisterhood, Business and Professional Women, Beta Sigma Phi, Toastmasters and the Sacramento Christian Book Club She is survived by her two children: Steven Murphy and Carol Richardson, brother in law Robert Bonner. She was a devoted grandmother of four grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Barbara Bonner. She will be buried in La Junta, Colorado beside her husband George Jennings Weihing, who was killed in a car accident in 1974.
